The spacious room featured a comfortable bed and essential amenities, though it carried an unexpected smoke smell, which detracted from the experience. The cleanliness of both the room and bathroom was commendable, with complimentary toiletries adding value. Breakfast was a highlight; a delightful range of options, both sweet and savory, though the undercooked boiled eggs were a slight setback. Dining at the on-site restaurant for dinner was also enjoyable. Accessing staff for coffee refills proved challenging, and a more attentive service could enhance the experience. The hotel's location allows easy access to local sites, with bus services facilitating exploration. The picturesque terrace, despite the rainy weather, beckoned for moments of reflection with a cup of tea. Waldhorn presents a thoughtful balance of comfort and affordability, making it a wise choice when weighing luxury against value.
